Biokovo Nature Park

Biokovo is imposing mountain above Zivogosce Blato, that is annually visited by about 50,000 tourists. Mountains rise so steeply as nowhere else in the world. As an one of the endemic centres in Croatia, and with over 1.500 plant species that grows there, it is officially declared as a Nature Park. With it's pure nature, Biokovo has beautiful paths for pedestrians and cyclists, pleasant resting places and interesting remains of the past (caves with many fossil remains).

Biokovo road that leads to the top of the mountain is 23 kilometers long.
